FAKIE EXCITEMENT! Lady Lovelylocks & Rainbow Brite

So Lady Lovelylocks and Rainbow Brite rate right at the top in terms of dolls that I love.  The thing is the doll lines aren't very large, so it has been many many years since I've been able to add anything new-  so I am probably unreasonably excited when I stumble on a new fakie based on the line

I just ran into these amazing fakies being sold by some Italian seller on ebay- they are really cool!!!  I just had to share my excitement... I think I may have an unnatural love of really well executed fakies 

Check out these ones that look like Lady Lovelylocks and Maiden Curlycrown- even the box art is a total rip-off!

And this Rainbow Brite one is an amazing fake- she looks like they used everything from the face mold to the pattern of the clothing... except the dress is green instead of blue- and she has some kind of music box inside her! I can't wait to see what song she plays

There's another Rainbow Brite fakie from Italy I've been keeping my eye out for- she looks like the one above except with green hair- so odd that I love her!

Thanks! I love fakies too-  due to copyright laws, the really good stuff all seems to be from far outside the U.S.   - just makes it a little more challenging to find, but sometimes hunting this stuff down is 80% of the fun.

Oh yeah, I saw those Lady Loves.  Cool!  The RB fakie is new to me though.  I haven't really started collecting that line yet; just don't have the space.  Both are very neat!

Those are beautiful!  That LLL girl still has a very 1980s feel to her with that hair!

I love that they did a fake Curlycrown and Fairhair too (yellow dress and blue dress)

They are cheap and weird but I love them-  the seller was really nice too and took a very reasonable best offer.

Will you post the third one like that too please?  Love the pictures.  I totally do not need these dolls so I am trying to refrain from keeping an eye out for them.  Maybe the pictures will be enough!
