The past few months have been pretty darn exciting for me, pony-wise.
First I spotted a G3 pony in a bag full of junk at St. Vinnie's. I think her name is Scoot-Along? I know nothing at all about G3's, I was just curious about this one.
There were a couple of what I think are fakies:
Also a bunch of other toy horses, no idea what any of them are.
Then I discovered that Scooterpony had MAGNET FEET.

Then I had some uncommonly good luck on eBay. I'd been frustrated lately getting outbid on things I really wanted, so I was giddy when I won not just one or two ponies from one seller, but auctions for all of these:
Then, I found a nice little lot from another seller going for $12.99 - I found it by accident while looking for something else entirely.
A Brush-Me-Beautiful Boutique with some accessories and three ponies:
BRIDE PONY!

And last but not least, SEASHELL!

They all cleaned up pretty nice.
Merry Treats will educate Stocking in the ways of Christmas-themed ponydom.
With these acquisitions, I now have a full set of Collector Ponies...
...a full set of Year 2 basic ponies...
...and a full set of Year 3 basics.
Just because I could, here's a family portrait of all my Y1 and Y2's!

BUT THERE'S MORE!
I bought a lot of accessories from a seller on eBay:
Some of them are to put with the Boutique, but I have been haunted by the absence of the white hat (which went home with a friend thirty years ago and never returned) and heart-shaped brush from the Pretty Parlor for ages.
NO MORE.
Finally, I gave in and meandered down the pony aisle at WalMart the other day and emerged with this:

She was just so
cute. And I hadn't bought a brand-new pony off the shelf in 25 years or so. And I have the self-control of a preschooler.
Her hair looked nice and pretty when it was all twisted around her leg, but it kind of spazzed out when I freed it, and then I tried to actually brush it and all scorching hell broke loose.

She also came with tiny accessories, which I found ridiculously adorable.
But there are
two tiny teacups, and poor Fluttershy is all alone! She needs a friend to have tea with.

"RRAAAAARRRGHHHH."
I don't know if I'm going to start collecting other gens now that I've (mostly) achieved my G1 collecting goals, but the ones I've got are nice to have around for now.
Thanks for looking! And thanks for helping to rekindle my interest in pony collecting. I would never have gotten back in the habit if I hadn't discovered this board. (Whether that's a good or a bad thing has yet to be seen.
