So... my fiance' went pony hunting today without me... and I am SO in ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL SHOCK...
 :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: :frolic: ok first, he found me a little G2 ( my first G2 item) she has a brushable tail and molded hair... little but sooo cute

he also found me a lizard LPS... adorable.. and a random asian looking vinyl toy of a little asian girl riding a pony ( which has 1976 Eden marked on the bottom)

and Last but MOST CERTAINLY not least....

He found a MY PRETTY PONY!!!

She doesn't have any of her accessories, and one of her eyes doesn't blink right, but OMG I am still shocked... I keep looking over at her. ( And he paid  A BUCK for her! That's 1.00USD!!!! )

( Her hair is VERY dry and matted, if anyone has any tips on trying to improve this PLEASE let me know. Im scared to mess with it yet)

I know I gush over how amazing my fiance is on here FAR too much... but... He is AWESOME and I am SUCH A lucky girl!

Her eyes probably work fine.. she's supposed to wink. :-)
Seems to me you've found a keeper! (the man, not the pony. Ok,, both!)

For her hair.. wash it (shampoo or dish soap works) SLATHER it with conditioner.. kinda try to keep it to the hair, try not to get it into the pony. Don't want to rust anything inside her.  Let it sit for a bit. Then, with the conditioner in her hair, get a wide toothed comb (probably need a strong one) hold her hair at the base of her "scalp" so you don't pull any out. Start at the ends and comb.. work your way to the base. Make sure you hold it in your hand though..  fairly tightly. I think when I have combed MPPs their hair pulls out if you aren't careful! Just treat it like you would combing a person's hair and trying not to pull it. after you get it combed out, rinse it thoroughly.  It's gonna make a mess.. I suggest laying her on a towel in your lap while you comb her.

I am so SCARED to try and fix her hair... like I'm looking at her hair right now and feel anxiety.... BAH! Thanks for the tips! I will try to work up the nerve to attempt to comb out this rat's nest! :shocked:

I did it! After a LARGE amount of thick conditioner, and alot of gentle combing, I got the DREADS out! And I didn't have a full on panic attack... although I thought that the fiance was going to while he watched me... he looked like  :shocked:  I lost very little hair in the endeavor. Her hair is still very dry especially on the ends... ( What can I do about that?) I should have taken before photos, but I will post pictures of all of my weekend finds tomorrow!

Yay! Congrats on tackling the tangles! I don't know if there is much  you can do about the dry ends. Some people use flat irons to combat fizzy ends.. but I think the hair on a MPP is different and I don't know how it would react.
