I can't live without unsalted almonds, anymore! I started getting them when I started making bento lunches (to use as filler), a few years ago, and now can go through one of the larger $5.99 bags in less than a week. It's so easy to grab a handful to munch on while drawing or playing video games, and feeling satisfied with that!
Congrats! Food is...interesting while pregnant. I couldn't believe some of the things I loved, and others I couldn't even stand the thought of. Seriously, the thought of cornbread would make me ill.
I had to have pineapple! Fresh chunks, canned, popsicles, suckers, it didn't matter. And breadsticks with marinara sauce. The heart burn was incredible, but I couldn't help myself.

The heart burn was incredible, but I couldn't help myself.I am wanting hamburgers and pasta this time around. Basically anything savoury and comforting. I also want orange juice, not so much because I'm craving it, but because I'm taking advantage of it while I can. I got insta-heartburn whenever I drank orange juice with my last pregnancy. This time around my heartburn actually hasn't been too bad yet, except when I eat spicy foods. A glass of milk helps a great deal. I am starting to crave ice again, too. The big no-no for me at the moment is sweet potatoes, I think because my husband made a sweet potato and spinach tikka during the height of my morning sickness. **sorry to hijack the survival food thread!!**
