What's Your Splurge?

Vacations!  I love going places, especially Chicago and NYC. I'd rather have an experience than "things" at times. Also ebooks, particularly if they're about business/writing/internet, and bath soaps/gels. I use them so I don't feel bad about buying a bunch every month at the outlet or during a sale. Also! Jeans! I have to pay 40.00 for them at Lane Bryant, but I use coupons and stock up because it's so hard for me as a curvy and tall woman to find good jeans!

I guess I spend more than usual on vacations and e-books too 
but I feel like those are both entirely justified so I don't feel like they are really a "splurge" so much as a calculated expense.  Books, even some of the crap I read- keeps your mind active and limber- and traveling contributes to your general happiness http://www.livescience.com/6158-study-happiness-experiences-stuff.html

I guess I also splurge on toys and dolls which are "things" that I don't need- but they do make me smile and I think they are fun.

I am going to have to say flowers because it's that time of the year here. My flower beds are done but every time we go somewhere that are selling them, I am like "Hmmmmm...I could make another basket or pot and put it there or there." Or make a new bed  The possibilities are endless.

And for the rest of the year I am constantly blowing money or cookbooks or cooking magazines.

Besides ponies...

Anytime I walk into Cabela's or Dick's Sporting Goods, I seem to come out with over $100 of stuff.  Thankfully, neither of these stores is super close to me (have to drive about 40 minutes).

Vacations are something I want to go on (thusly, "splurge" on), but I don't splurge on vacation.  For example, we are going to Glacier National Park and Banff National Park this summer - which is a splurge in and of itself - but we won't go crazy and spend a bunch ON vacation... if that makes any sense

Costa.. I cannot -cope- without at least one Costa coffee fix a week!!

I like cute things, like kawaii stationary (notebooks especially) and stickers.. I'm usually pretty good with spending money, but sometimes I buy pointless little things- just because it's cute!!

I forgot my other splurge; tea. I have a huge weakness for tea especially if there's almond or coconut in it.

Con*Tact Caffeine soap. I have a bunch of soaps and scent sticks, I just can't resist trying out new scents. The caffeine thing is dubious, I buy for the scents.

Heh, they handed me a free soap at my table at FWA.    I was all "thanks ... do I smell bad?  I showered 30 minutes ago."

As for me?  I splurge on getting my hair done quite, quite often.  Every once in a while I'll indulge in some really expensive cheese too.

$5 DVDs from Wal-Mart or a paperback book. Mostly it's books.
A few days ago it was several Schleg figures. From a local feed store. I love supporting local shops.

Big splurges? When I'm camping and visit a historic park. Hello basketry items or anything wolf related.

I have nail polish running out my ears, MH is definitely something I need to watch my spending on, and only on rare occasion do I get a Starbucks coffee.  Books I love too but as I have a Kindle, I try to not buy much.  Need to get more free books for it, but I haven't had a good chance to look.  ooh and beading magazines.  LOVE those!
