I never realized what a butt Rio is at the start when he doesn't know Jerrica/Jem are the same person. He is kissing both of them. What a two timing cheater pants! LOL In the "Who is he kissing?" song Jem says making love :O Dang the things they could get away with back in the day compared to now lol.
I re-watched it last year and kept thinking ''hey. the Misfits keep trying to KILL you. CALL. THE. POLICE.''. (BTW ''making love to'' can be an old fashioned way to say ''sweet talk'' or ''to romance'')

It's best not to look TOO carefully at the plot-lines- otherwise you might have to conclude that the entire series is an elaborate delusion/hallucination by Jerrica.... It would explain why Jem and the Holograms never have any money when they are a #1 band- and many many other serious huh? moments...

Didn't Christy Marx say something about secretly believing Jerrica had Schizophrenia?

Not to be taken tooooo seriously.
I love hearing what other people think of Jem, as I am a big fan of Jem! The 80's cartoons sure had elements in them that wouldn't be shown in today's cartoons. What about when Eric Raymond hires Zipper to follow Jem and the Holograms to Paris and he knocks over a Gargoyle on a roof top to try and fall on them. Or when the Misfits steal their instruments, take off in their van and start throwing them at the Rockin' Roadster, making the good guys almost run off a cliff. I love those scenes. One of my fav funny scenes is when Rio kicks over a pot plant in another one of his angry rants. Hehe. Rio sure blows off steam easily.I do love how deep the character's go in the series and they have episodes that go back to explain the past of Jerrica and her parents and so on. Christy Marx put so much effort into this show and I just love the music too. I've been lucky enough to attend three Jemcons and have met a lot of people who worked on the show and it's been fascinating being able to hear their stories in person and be able to ask those questions I dreamt of knowing about. I often still watch Jem and always have some of the songs on my ipod and I LOVE the dolls too Here's a pic of some of my dolls and a pic when I first met Samantha Newark, the speaking voice of Jem. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDoll Suite 2012 by *Jemgirl*, on Flickrvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginRachael & Samantha by *Jemgirl*, on Flickr
