As long as they don't cancel my order again, I got them. I even ordered an extra one of each to trade! But I'm not getting too excited. I thought I'd gotten it last time too, before they canceled my order the next morning.

Last time I was super nice and only ordered a single Rainbow Dash since she was the one I most wanted and I knew they were limited. But since they cancelled my order last time while so many others got their's, this time I said to heck with it! And they upped their price, I see, another reason to dislike amazon.

They're going to be sold at SDCC for $20, so it's only fair that Amazon sell them for that price too.

I actually agree Marigold. When you factor 1) the stock they have for 4 days of SDCC, those pre sold on Amazon, the number now on Amazon and on Gemini. Then consider that many people are buying multiples and that ebay is filled with ones which have clearly been picked up by scalpers. Consider the number of bronies, the number of pony collectors and the number of Funko collectors...I am amazed that they seem to be so plentiful if their truly was only 1008 of each created.

The way I see it don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Just thank whoever screwed things up and spread the word.

In the past funko limited runs have been anywhere from 240-480. This is the first year they have had runs of 1008. Some of the 480 runs were still available a year or more after the events.

I think with the 1008 run they were able to split them. 200 or so for folks who did the funko sdcc pre-buy, 400 for SDCC, 200 for amazon and 200 for gemini. so, more than enough to go around. maybe there are more mlp fans that don't like the glittery??

But with funko the 1000+ exclusives have always been plentiful.

Except that while 1008 is a large run for Funko- I bet that the ponies will sell out faster than any of their other lines.  There is just so much widespread like for them, and they are remarkably cute
