I really wanted to like these dolls, as I think their animated models had some potential as a one-off, but I'm just not feeling these at all. I'd consider picking one of them up if they end up on clearance, but I don't feel their price point puts them in great competition with the other popular doll lines currently on the market (and on the horizon). These just look like cheap Monster High Taobao fakies to me.

I'm glad this is a spin-off and not a complete overhaul of the MLP franchise itself, but it's money saved for me at any rate, so that's a plus. I wish they had put their effort into bringing Jem back, I would have been all for that. Maybe once Integrity has run the gauntlet on their limited edition dolls, Hasbro will throw their hat into the ring with a playline revival and give us something more affordable.

Well I think I might know how big these are going to be. The box measurements were on Amazon so I took the in box image and resized it so it would be the actual size on my screen. I then compared her to a few of my dolls. The Monster High dolls, including my Howleen, were taller but my Novi Star was shorter. The thing I had that seemed closest was my barefoot original (not the new taller ones) Bratz doll (the bare feet are flat feet unlike most Bratz shoes with their platforms and killer heels). Ther height is like the Middle School siblings of the Monster High dolls.

I like them...but I like anthromorphic dolls to begin with AND I'm a doll collector along with a pony collector. I don't know...I just really like them. Fifteen bucks isn't good, but it's not as bad as twenty bucks for a Novi Star, though I love them too. I have Tonners for nice, realistic, accurate fashion dolls. Monster High and La Dee Dah and most playlines I collect are because they're something unique, different and FUN. These fit the bill for that! And I love that Pinkie Pie has the same kind of hair I do, because people say I'm her. Love Rainbow Dash too!

Oh my gosh, there are no words for how happy I am to see more articulation! Though it looks like it's only the knees? But still it's a huge improvement. And the newest image of Rarity actually looks kinda good. I really want to like these, and I'm so glad that I'm starting to! Nice that Rainbow Dash actually has all of her hair colours! Fluttershy would probably look a lot better with her eyes flipped around though.

Why did they put Rainbow Dash in a skirt/dress?
I never saw her as someone that would wear a skirt/dress...
But they're growing on me...
I think I will end up getting them

I might actually get the Rainbow Dash doll since she's my favorite pony and she's articulated. Her outfit doesn't seem like her though.

Oh, those Saply customs are gorgeous! 

I'm actually liking the dolls better than I thought.  I might buy one of the deluxe (articulated) ones, but I still don't think MH or Barbie, for that matter, has much to worry about.

They're most likely bent that way permanently, like La Dee Da dolls. They don't appear to be jointed there. I could be wrong though

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are from a different line, as far as we can tell. They're more expensive, have joints at their elbows (and maybe elsewhere), and come with more clothes.
