Toys ID with no pic and just a poor description
« on: June 02, 2013, 12:17:23 PM »
So I'm at my mum's house in Denmark and we've gone a bit nuts with the toys lol. I've now spent the best part of an hour on Ghost of the Doll with no luck, so here comes a description to the best of my ability (bearing in mind I've not actually seen one in about 20 years)

I used to have these little baby dolls. The arms and legs were moveable and the baby itself was beautifully made and good quality. I used them as babies for my Barbie Dolls, so that's the scale we are looking for. I had a pink cot and a rocking horse and various baby stuff for them - I think that the line was similar to Barbie but very family orientated - mum, dad, baby, house accessories - and all in pastel type colours.

Any idea what I'm talking about at all?

Thanks Ember. I just looked those up and that's not it unfortunately. The idea is very similar, but the ones I had weren't quite as 80s looking.

Sound similar to Love-a-Bye Baby but I think they are a little big to be used with Barbies and there weren't any parents. Their furniture was wooden.  What about Quints?

Hmmm small baby toys with molded hair...

My first guess is tree tots, dolly pops, or charmkins.
I'm not really on here anymore. Email me if you need my for something.

Baby-esque dolls and figures escape me most of the time.  Sorry.

I dont remember what they were called, but I think Kenner had babies that went with the little pet shop line.

Where they Mattel Rosebud dolls (the smaller ones)?  They have similar bodies to the Heart Family babies.

Could have also been part of the Mattel Sunshine Family dolls.

None of those either, although I am having lots of fun looking them up.
It's not a baby line - I just had the babies from the line.

I dont remember what they were called, but I think Kenner had babies that went with the little pet shop line.

These were Baby Buddies but they had real hair as well as molded.
