i am so excited about these two girls

So I have had these for a week or so but I just could not wait to share.

First I found a new way of displaying one of my older ponies I think she just feels right at home.

then I got my first (and possibly to be only) glimmer wing pony. To be honest they do not really appeal to me normally but I think that she can pull of the wings just fine.

then finally how does the song go save the best for last. I don't think she needs any introduction. I cannot believe how intricate the paint work is on her even now definitely one of the best buys for my collection yet.

I commissioned her of the fantastic Pandabear_chan right here on the arena. I cannot wait to commision her again in the near future. she stands next to her new friend in the picture I would not be able to tell she was a custom from a far until I did a closer inspection and see the artist mark on her foot. there is not a brush stroke mark on her entire body that is visible to the naked eye. I think she looks factory made therefor perfect in my eyes

oooh how did you do that I might be inclined to by the others in the shop they look like g4 wingers.  please tell.

It's fairly easy. I would advise to not bother trying to take her back out to get the wings out. I tried that with my first one and nearly ruined her. The best way is to cut/rip the wings off as close to the base as possible. I then took pliers and scissors. I'd use the pliers to stress the plastic (by grabbing and pulling up) to stretch it and make it weak so then carefully (make sure hair is out of the way) cut the plastic so it's as close to the base as possible. When you're done that you're ready to add wings. For the one in the pics I had a baity winger but I only had two of those so for my other glimmer wings (minus RD and Rarity cuz I'm still looking for those at a decent price) I commissioned Pandabear_chan, she makes awesome repro winger wings.
For real wings they are attached together so you have to cut them apart and just cut the tabs a bit (do very little at a time so you don't accidentally take too much off) to fit the tabs in front of the old glimmer wing tabs. I just slide mine in front of what's left of the glimmer wing and add glue (usually crazy glue) so the wing will stay in. Repeat on other side.

Clear as mud eh hahaha feel free to PM me if you have any questions or would like to see pics at different angles it is worth the effort and (I think) they look soooo much better! I really hate how big and clunky those orginal glimmer wings are. Good luck with your girl

oohh thank you I an defenatly going to try this very soon. the shop I got her from had loads quiet cheap so I can get a tester one. I saw some repo wings for sale not long ago. I will pm you if I get stuck.
