Now I feel...wait I fixed it! Yay Magic Erasers!

I got my FS Shining Armor and Cadance in. Shining is in good condition...but...

You know how Cadance has that huge robe, shoes, and that flower bouquet ring on right? When unboxing it, this is what I found

And according to the listing, seller accepts returns...however, only if it wasn't opened.

It doesn't feel fair to me that once I opened the box, I noticed those marks. They were pretty hidden on the surface.

I've sent a message to the seller about this including the pics...I'm expecting the worst

I was able to clean it. Getting the glue nearly off, so nevermind!

(Man I complain too much)

I totally understand your disappointment. But I am not sure what your seller will do because if they were MIB she clearly would have no idea they had factory errors

I guess you are going to have to wait for a response and see what she says.

I really don't want to sound too mean. But to be honest I think sometimes we need to remember that these toys are aimed at children and are on the cheap end of the price bracket. We are not spending $200 for a couple of ponies we are spending $20. So unfortunately the odd factory flaw, and I would say these are quite minor, is normal.

If the seller had opened the item to check condition it would no longer have been MIB after all.

I am sure ebay can force the seller to accept your return [although you will be responsible for your postage back to them] and you should be able to get your refund. But I personally dont think the seller has actually done anything wrong in this situation and if they accept the return of an open item which they shipped MIB then they are actually being quite a good seller.

Perhaps when purchasing in the future if you expect perfection you could consider only purchasing open items which you can ask for complete images of from sellers?

I hope you manage to get everything sorted out.

I concur with what has already been said. G4's are quite often damaged by their own packaging.

If they were MIB, the seller obviously could not know they were not "mint" in there. If the seller is willing to accept a return of it, they should continue to have 100% Positive Feedback because they really are not at fault.

Best of luck to you, I hope you can work something out.

You don't sound mean. It's a reasonable explanation. If nothing is done, I'm pretty sure I can find a way to fix Cadance. May take a lot of work...but I'll see what the seller says. :)

My Twilight had the same dirty marks. They wipe right off with a little bit of water, hardly any work.  The thing under the belly, I have had similar problems with pony butts.  It is just extra plastic that didn't get scraped off.  An exacto knife or a file should be able to flatten that area.  Factories are dusty places.  I used to be the product specialist for GAP Inc and even packaged clothes would be covered in dust when they were shipped to us.  Also my fiance works at a logistics company where there is a loading/unloading dock.  If he works on the dock he comes home and his hands are black with dirt and dust.  It is bound to happen on ponies too.

Unfortunately this kind of thing is common with G4's , but I'm really happy to hear that you managed to fix it without having to send your ponies back :bigups:  :cheer:
