I was re-organizing my childhood ponies when my cat decided to play with Catnip.  I thought it was cute and started snapping photos...until THIS happened:

My grandparents' dog did try to steal my Lil Litters Dalmatian... I guess he thought she was pretty. :)

Wow! Do not take Capnip back off your cat :) That is clearly his or her Capnip now :P

I dont have any pictures - my puppy Harry is a toy collector too. He collects cuddly animals. There is a simple rule in my house...I do not mess or hide Harry's toys...and Harry will not touch mummy's toys. And we live peacefully this way!

My cats, and dog, are actually incredibly nice to my ponies! They have all tried to get at them once, when they were babies and never again (I swear I didn't do anything bad to them,. they are just incredibly nice). so I can have my ponies all over with no fear.
I was rearranging my G3s here and my kitties decided to join the party, although that is my dog's sofa :)

My ponies are in a cat free zone. One of my white girls crawled in my PE when I had it set up in the livingroom though, it was pretty cute, she thought the house was for her.

Word of the wise, keep G2's FAR away from cats, I am always finding them with cat chews when I manage to find G2's in thrift store bags or at toyshows. AND I've seen three of my girls try and steal them to chew if I bring any home. One had stolen a baity g2 years ago and when she was finished the pony was beyond disgusting. Whatever material G2's are made from, is simply irresistible to the kitty palate!  :X

I don't have any cute pictures, my dogs leave our ponies alone (my daughter leaves her's all over the place) However my sister's dog's favorite toy was MY Cutesaurus  My sister lived with my parents for a long time where I had all my ponies in storage. She helped herself to my ponies to give some to her daughter to play with and the dog loved Cutesaurus so much she let him keep him and he got chewed to pieces.  :cloud: That was like 5 years ago and I'm still upset about it.

I have noticed this as well! Many G2s I've gotten from the thrift store had tiny chew marks on them. I might have an experiment with my cats and see how they feel about this particular generaton

My dog loves to sniff new toys that I get, but then he ignores them.  I think he just wants to see what new stuff I have.

My cat, Truman, always took this same pony off my shelves to play with when he was a kitten. He doesn't mess with my ponies anymore, though. Guess he grew out of it. ;)

At one point I had plush Pinkie sitting on the bird cages - our Parrotlet loved sitting on her (and sometimes snuggling in her mane)

My dog Mocha loved ponies a little too much and Ate Italy Trickles and FF Cotton Candy once. He would run under the bed with them the stinker! needless to say I had to have a couple pony funerals.

My cats have batted at pony tails if they were hanging over the edge of a shelf or table. The pony would then fall off and bop them on the head. It took a few lessons like this before they decided to play with the toy mice i got for them instead.

Used to have a rainbow lorikeet. It would groom pony manes. (I say 'it' because it's impossible to tell gender with these birds unless it lays an egg)

I wouldn't let a dog near my ponies. Keep thinking it would be fun to have a puppy, but all the collectables would have to be well out of reach and probably behind glass before that kind of pet would be practical.

Cute! I would take a picture but my Gerbil would not stand still long enough or it would start chewing on the pony.

She loves G1 ponies, especially the babies, and Lucky in particular!!  Every time I open my pony cabinet she is there waiting to sniff a pony.  She is relentless when ponies come in the post!!  But adorable none the less!!
