EQ Dolls picture (POSSIBLY prototypes?)

It's mostly the non articulation that's putting me off seriously off. I'm not interested in the show at all but I was hoping that on seeing the actual dolls I might at least like Pinkie and AJ but nope not yet.

lol! I am happy to see Twilight's head STILL doesn't match her body.  At least Hasbro is consistent!  I sure hope these are mini versions.  Otherwise, a question to Hasbro: Was it really worth it?

Anyone know how much these will be? I mean if they are around the same price as a pony I guess you can't really expect too much. I mean a Monster High doll costs between $15-$20 give or take.

My guess is they will be about the same price as ponies given that the level of detail (and the likelihood they will be really small).

Maybe they will combine them in a pack with brushables like they did with the LPS/Blythe thing.   If so, I'm anticipating a pricetag of about $14.99 - $16.99.   If the dolls are even smaller than the Blythes (and they may be given the painted on outfits)- maybe $12.99 a pack...

Someone did mention that possibility- which is a good one- except that the toys appear on that Russian vendor's website- which seems to indicate they are merchandise to me.

I went back a page or two and found the suggestion- I felt so smart, too! I'm going to keep dreaming that the Russians have stolen our McDonald's toys, and the real toys are still to come. (Boris and Natasha... those naughty spies. Where are Moose and Squirrel when you need them?)

they give me the mcdonald/polly pocket/strawberry shortcake vibe ... as in smaller 4-6" size ...

i think they're kinda cute ... but somewhat disappointing ... i love the colors, the different styles, that weird rat tail hair thing is an easy fix with scissors ... but the lack of poseability and the off looking faces is a pout factor of at least 8 lol

really hope these are just REALLY early prototypes or mcd toys
