These are... horrid :/ I wasn't exactly hopeful to start with, but I can't deny I was hoping to see the princesses and some background characters as dolls. But these look somewhat like their faces have gotten smashed in and they are frozen in place. I don't understand how, with how popular the Monster High dolls are, that anyone entering the doll merchandise line wouldn't at least make their product well jointed. Plus, I have think that is is ridiculous that they made their skin color match their coat color. It just makes them look bizarre to me, like Rarity NEVER has seen sunlight in her life and Applejack has a bad spray tan. I could go on but I think people have already said a lot of what I think lol.

I kinda like them. I'm not down with the cartoon series, but I would get these lil dolls. Though I think Fluttershy is the worst of the bunch... totally wrong colour if you ask me

But I wondered if maybe the reason I like them is because I don't collect dolls, so I don't have any previous expectations or requirements for what dolls I like should be. Therefore too me, these are cute lil dolls and nothing more.

My facebook comment went something like this: Some folks are saying they are fakies, some folks are saying these are prototypes. One can only hope this is some fans creation and not hasbro. This doesn't even look modern, it looks like a really, really, really bad interpretation of the 80's...like the worst style imaginable. 1980's rainbow bright called and said she wants her boots back but then saw the boots and hung up.

My addition is: I could possibly work with the dolls, minus the rat tail thing going on with the hair - that's so horribly cheap to do that. If it is coming out of the head it's a terrible idea Hasbro...why?

Outfits can be changed, lets hope the clothing is not part of the body - and lets hope those boots come off - if the clothing is molded on then these dolls are filling up my top five things I hate in a doll.
Probably doesn't own a stolen piece of the Taj Mahal.

I'm not a fan of them, but they could have been a lot worse.

I think they're kinda cute

Looks like they will be pretty small- (brushable size compatible?) so they won't be expensive.  I hope they sell them in a pack!

I'd want to fix them up once I got them- (the wings are downright odd- maybe they are supposed to be invisible ??)  but this is along the line of what I was expecting from Hasbro honestly.   At least their faces are pretty (was worried they'd be ugly like the re-make of the Sea Wees)

Anyone know how much these will be? I mean if they are around the same price as a pony I guess you can't really expect too much. I mean a Monster High doll costs between $15-$20 give or take.

You know, I might have some high expectations for the EG dolls because of customs like this:

Saply, you've set the bar high my friend.  Very, very high.

Aaah yes, that one is beautiful.
If these are unchanged I don't think I'll get any of them... they're just .... eck

My guess is they will be about the same price as ponies given that the level of detail (and the likelihood they will be really small).

Maybe they will combine them in a pack with brushables like they did with the LPS/Blythe thing.   If so, I'm anticipating a pricetag of about $14.99 - $16.99.   If the dolls are even smaller than the Blythes (and they may be given the painted on outfits)- maybe $12.99 a pack...

OMG- they do!  I bet you are right!!!  THey are just the right size and level of detail!

Still- the only thing that suggests otherwise is that they appeared on that Russian toy site-  why would they have McDonalds toys?
