Mine wasn't picking up either. Then it suddenly "appeared". xD: And I am a bit shy when it comes to talking to a store employee about a question (some of them can be intimidating. D: )
You could still check with Pelly at the post office, just in case.

I normally don't like going into Best Buy (dislike the new layout they have in their store), so I dunno if I'd get the last two DLC ( a suitcase and a two headed(?) guitar).

For those with the Best Buy exclusives - Can you order more from your catalog at all?

I believe so, going by what some people say online.
Whenever my Nook store upgrades (in a few days, since some people say your store has to be open for at least 10 days, plus an in-store spending/purchase requirement), I can gladly try to order more of the clocks for people who don't have access to a Best Buy.

That would be amazing if so!

I am so ashamed of myself: I was walking towards ReTail, when I saw a tarantula walk pretty much right behind me. I got so scared, I bolted to the store. I'm actually kinda trembling a little because it was SO close to me. Thank goodness my net wasn't out.
