I got a Cicada Stereo from the Bug Off, and I managed to win with an Agrias Butterfly (84 points). I've also somehow started to acquire a set of Modern furniture, so I'll probably be on the lookout for bits I don't already have.

To fix the connection errors: assign a static IP and DNS to the DS and place them into a DMZ in the router. If you know what that lot means, you're good to go.

I missed the bug off, I was working....and I didn't want to time travel backwards to participate because I don't know what happens? I hadn't done anything that day so I guess it wouldn't have been bad....

Does anyone know? I hate missing stuff cause of real life ;D hahaha

Has anyone gone to Best Buy yet today to get the Raccoon Wall Clock exclusive? I got mine this morning. It's cute!  Can't wait for the Cat Tower to be available.

I missed the bug off, I was working....and I didn't want to time travel backwards to participate because I don't know what happens? I hadn't done anything that day so I guess it wouldn't have been bad....

If you hadn't played the game at all on Saturday (or at least up to a certain time/point),  and you haven't started the game up today yet, you could Time Travel back to Saturday to do the Bug-Off and still be alright.
Otherwise, I'd recommend not to TT backwards, as it can kinda mess with things in your town (plus, it will auto-rot Turnips). Nothing like extremely bad, to my own knowledge of TTing in past games, but better to be safe than sorry. Generally if you TT, you should always go "forward".

u__u; Soo... I'm pretty clueless. I tried going to a best buy, and it didn't seem like my 3DS was picking up the nintendo zone.

Do I have to go inside or something? (Although my husband went inside with his, and says it didn't show anything on the home screen). I've been outside buildings before and noticed something going on the home screen...

The raccoon clock is what I'm most interested in.

I'm also extra excited. I went to the movies today (FIMEQ, of course), and I got some people for HH, or whatever that is called. :3 yay...

I believe so, going by what some people say online.
Whenever my Nook store upgrades (in a few days, since some people say your store has to be open for at least 10 days, plus an in-store spending/purchase requirement), I can gladly try to order more of the clocks for people who don't have access to a Best Buy.

If you went inside the store and had the Spot Pass thing on (where it lets you download things from spotpass), check your post office and choose " Ask about a present" (or something like that). If you got it in, Pelly will give you the clock.

If it's okay for me to link it here, I found some instructions on how to get the Best Buy DLC. (I had a hard time getting it at my store as well, to say the least. Took about 20 minutes trying to figure it out. ):
