Disney dolls discussion!

I love the Animator's collector dolls. I had Rapunzel for a little while and then we visited New York and I saw them all in person.... I bought the Cinderella that day and ended up ordering the rest online during the train ride home. I have since added the similar Meridia doll and the deluxe Cinderella doll to my collection.

I liked them so much that I bought a second Rapunzel and Ariel to debox (never did photograph her).

I saw that a few days ago!  I have been wanting Vanessa forever!  Although why does her skirt look white?  I hope her hair is a true brown and not black.

Gah. I want Vanessa for my Ursula collection! Not the rest of the characters, though... (Unless the Ursula is different from the Disney Store playline one I already have, in which case, she can stay too.)

I would DIE for a pack of Ariel and all of her sisters. Do you know if this has ever been made??

Also, I just picked up the last year Jasmine. I keep wavering on if I am in love with her or if I want to even keep her.

I've been stalking this thread because I love teh disney dolls and seeing all the lovely pictures and fans here has been delightful.

Then it went over the edge with Vanessa. It only took how many years     she's amazing @_@ look at that sassy smirk she has!

WildLace, you must have been on a Vanessa dolly research mission!

Good to know, but kind of a bummer in some ways. Those miniature dolls look nothing like her sisters, they could have at least tried with their hair. The other thing is that the other TLM dolls in that set have been out for a couple years now. So you have to figure that it will probably be at least a$50 dollar set to get ONE new doll (for anyone that has the others). I hope they release Vanessa separately, but I won't get my hopes up. Last year it was Cinderella as the big dvd release, and the Deluxe set had Lady Tremain (Step-mom) and Anastasia & Drizella (Step-sisters) as the special ones in the box along with the other 3 dolls that had already been released (Cinderella, Charming, Fairy Godmother).

As far as I know the deluxe set cost about USD80. Which is insane, just for one exclusive doll.

The sister pack is a bit disappointing. I am still hoping for 12" sisters but I don't think it will happen  sad days, I know.

I still wonder if they are going to release the Fashion packs again.

Some people have been speculating that since for Cinderella they made a LE Step mom. They might make a LE Vanessa.

Personally I would like to see two different versions of Ariel, One human, one mermaid. But that is just my opinion

I am seriously considering adding the deluxe The Little Mermaid set to my sad collection of one doll though (and I'll buy Gaston at the same time). Only problem is once I open the flood gates of doll collecting...I'll want one of every character or something Hah!
