Wedding Pony Brags

Okay so, I got engaged in February and my fiance and I are planning on a wedding next fall. So, I have a small brag that are two "Wedding" related ponies:

First, G2 Wednesday Afternoon Bride - She's part of my wedding theme colors, I LOVE how elegant she is. My favorite bride pony ever.

Second, on a whim while searching eBay I came across a BIN on the ceramic "The Wedding Prance", and snatched it up UberQuick! I've never seen it before but I absolutely LOVE every single thing about it:

I dunno, I guess Glory could be a boy. OR Glory could just be the "groom" so to speak. I actually really loved this statue because I think it could play on gender roles which is such a big topic today... so it's kind of neat on multiple levels I think!

I think the Bride's Symbol will be worked into our theme somehow as well, I love it so much. I wanted to include MLP in my wedding but not overwhelm my fiance with a wedding that he didn't feel like he was a "part" of... so, when we chose colors I looked at ALL the Bride ponies over every generation that I could find, and this one was the most... "classic" colors I suppose... So "my" colors are Ivory/White/Pearl and Gold, and his colors are Hunter Green and Brown... we're going for a "fall" theme, and of course a "nature" type theme as we're both very much into the outside world... So we'll see. I'm hoping I'll be able to afford a small "Bride's Cake" on the side where Ms. Wednesday Afternoon Bride will actually be displayed as a cake topper (not the main... mane cake... lol but a little... side cake or something)...

I honestly haven't even thought about wedding planning since we got engaged... lol... we're tentatively planning for August/Sept 2014... so, at the end of this summer and all next year I'm gonna be crazy about planning stuff.... lol oh and losing tons of weight so I fit into a nice dress

-And Toaster - EXACTLY! What /doesn't/ MLP do? It's fantastic.
