Do you have a favorite flower?

I've never really been into flowers but for the past ten minutes, I've been looking at flower pictures on Google. And that got me wondering what everyone's favorite flower(s) is(/are). So do you have a favorite flower? If so, is there a meaning behind why it's your favorite? If not, that's perfectly okay!

And of course, feel free to share pictures  :)

I'm not a huge flower person, but I have always loved roses the very best <3 They are such  classic flower and beautiful in any color (natural or not). I admit, my adoration of them totally stemmed from my love for Disney's Beauty and the Beast, haha. When I see them they just remind me of romance and princesses, yet their thorns give them a mature, cruel edge that mixes with the delicacy of the petals that I just love.

I'm also not a big flower person, but I've always liked tulips and daffodils the most. I especially like the yellow tulips.

Mine is probably easy to guess.  *points to username*

The reason for mine is the scent.  My Mom had this old box of wisteria incense and I just love the aroma!  And it looks lovely in person too, though I have never smelled the actual flower.  LOL!

Stargazer lilies - strangely enough, since I don't usually groove on pink... but they're sooooo beautiful!  No other reason.  I think... :blink:

Peonies for their fragrance, though. ^.^  I've worn a peony-sandalwood scent since the nineties, and I couldn't imagine having a different perfume, it's so sweet!

I also like peonies, camellias, hydrangeas, foxglove, pansies, dogwoods, iris, calla lilies, roses, violets, strawberry flowers...and a lot more.

Viola tricolor (aka johnny jump ups). Out of all the flowers my great grandmother had in her gardens, they were always my favorite. I think I just like the color contrast.

Any type of pansy I'm fond of really.

I also have started liking poppies a lot because they remind me of my home state (being the state flower).

Daffodils are pretty sweet too, and fuchia, and marigolds. I like most flowers. They make me happy.  :flow:

Morning glory, the birth flower (though aster is also used) of my birth month.
Second favorite is roses.

Followed closely by violets. Which my mom had to baby because I grew up in San Diego, ala dry and hot. Not conducive to violet growing weather.

Bearded Irises are my #1 favorite
But I'm also partial to Hydrangeas.  Succelents are also muchly appreciated even though they're technically not flowers.  They have a flower like shape so I think they can count too!

Yes!  I LOVE flowers!  Love Love Love roses!  My dad had a small garden of tea hybrid roses growing up, the blooms weren't spectacular, but they had the sweetest, most amazing smell!  My husband and I bought a house in the fall, so I finally get to have a garden!  The previous owner obviously didn't take care of the yard, so I was really surprised when some bulbs started coming up this spring!  We had a small group of about 10 plants that ended up being ruffled or parrot tulips.  I also have 3 rose plants waiting for it to be warm enough to till the ground and plant them!  A close family friend passed away this past week, and some very sweet ladies I work with got me a beautiful butterfly bush!  I have between 50 - 100 bulbs coming up that I think are Iris but I don't know because they haven't bloomed yet!  I don't even have my roses in the ground yet, and they're blooming like crazy!

Tulips and Gerber Daisys are my absolute fav's. I do like Roses and Carnations as well but not nearly as much :p

I have a top 5 when it comes to flowers. 1-Yellow Roses, 2-Lilacs,3-Bluebonnets, 4-Jasmine, 5-Cherry Tree Blossoms (if you count those as flowers hehe.)
