Happy birthday to me indeed!

First of all is this childhood brag. She was my cousin's, actually, but a few weeks ago she gave her to me!

My poor grandpa, bless him, was a heavy smoker for his entire life, so all of that smoke still hasn't completely left our grandma's house. I wiped her down with a magic eraser and washed her hair, and the sink was brown! Ewww! But it was well-worth it because I adore these Dream Beauty fakies. She just needs a name now... My cousin's name is Miranda, so I was thinking something alliterative like "Magical Miranda" or "Merry Miranda." Suggestions?

But of course the point of the brag comes from the fact that, well, yesterday was my birthday! And I have plenty of ponies to show for it too!

Grandma came up to me last week and said that she really wanted to buy me ponies for my birthday, but didn't know what I didn't have, so she wrote me a check and told me to ship them to her house so she could wrap them.

I picked Waterfire and Sealight. Honestly, I can't think of two better ponies that I would rather associate with the amazing person who is my grandma.

But that's not all. Mom and I went up to Indianapolis yesterday for a shopping trip. I'll spare you the clothing brags because they are plentiful, but I talked her into trying some Goodwill Outlets and we rescued some ponies!

Mom found Tink actually. I'm proud of her. She's in really nice shape too... but the Outlets are so gross that I fluffed her up in the dryer anyway just to feel better.

She also found Crystal Lace! I should take her pony hunting more often because she has amazing luck.

I found McDonald's Serendipity though, and poor, poor thing! She's so beat up that I'm going to scrub, scrub, scrub her! Mom suggested that I try an alt. rehair with her, though I'm sure her hair can be saved. Trying my hand at an alt. is incredibly tempting though.

And not a pony, but I rescued poor Bulbasaur because I felt so sorry for him. He just looked so sad. He was pretty gross so I gave him a wash. He's still in the dryer, so I'm not sure how he turned out, but poor thing.

Also not a pony, but it's Spyro! Once I get him cleaned up, he'll be for trade at the Fair.

Right after my grandma gave me pony money, my brother came up to me and asked what I wanted for my birthday other than ponies. I told him all about Darlin' Dinos and...

I'd say it's been a pretty great birthday. Definitely one of my favorites so far.
