Thanks guys! I looked after her as a kid  She's not grubby like some I've seen....Although her leg warmers and shoes have been on for the past 25 years and so her fur is a little marked on her legs! Still a beautiful girl though

I recently gave one of my Barbies to another niece for her 6th birthday and she LOVES her!

I hung on to some of my precious childhood toys so that I could give them to my children one day....but I am unable to have children, so am now passing things on to my nieces  . Much better than having them stored away!

It's not bad huh! It is a little thin in some places, and some has come off around her feet (those shoes weren't a good idea for a so-soft!)....but overall she's in pretty good condition! I need to sort the end of her tail out though - it's very wirey.....I believe a dip in boiling water is the answer?

I hope so too! She's only 3 at the moment....so I'm thinking I will wait until her 5th or 6th birthday. Got some other toys I can give her in the mean time! I want Fifi to be looked after, and I think my niece needs to be just a little bit older! Plus it means that I can continue to enjoy her until then

Haha! I know! It's already hard coming to terms with parting with her! However, I had the same difficulty with parting with one of my Barbies recently (who I gave to another niece for her 6th birthday)....and when my brother emailed me (which he never does!!) to tell me how much she LOVES her, it made me so happy! So hopefully the same will happen with Fifi, and it will make me happy to know that she is being loved by a little girl, rather than a sappy 30-something year old! lol
