Yup!  You're good.  ^_^  I didn't purchase one of those...I couldn't afford both styles after I splurged on the other style.  *bites nails*  I hope I didn't miss out!  I like her more.

I saw that last night before I went to bed. I book marked it. I would of got her but that was just to much money to spend on ponies. I am happy with the one that I got

I asked the seller with the "Minty A" for sale (the one who had the 5 that sold) to see if she had any more to list and she referenced me to the single one up for auction, saying that's her last one.  =( 

So who knows what's going on???  Tons of the black outlined ones seem to be showing up, but only a few of the non-outlined ones?

She has her own (Christmas themed) movie and a ton of toys related to her.
She is also addicted to socks.

No, Minty was never known as "Pinkie Pie" - Pinkie has always been Pinkie. 

Minty was sort of a "shout out" to collectors as she was named after an original G1 pony (along with Moondancer and a few others).  But with the multiple releases of Minty, especially with the Christmas specialties and the DVD, she gained a lot of popularity and a following.  ^_^

I'm saving up my money for a Minty  I currently have $40. But I'm gonna do some household chores to earn more money and give it to my boyfriend to but it on his debit card to use on ebay in order to get her

No, Minty was never known as "Pinkie Pie" - Pinkie has always been Pinkie.

Sorry, that is not what i ment. I tried to say she was as familiar/ well-known as Pinkie Pie.
My English isn't perfect. XP (I also never really saw her as a "shout-out" to older collectors. Just a pony with the same name as a G1 pony. I never even saw her as being based on G1 minty. But that's just me.)

Oh my!  I read the date on the bottom of Minty's foot from ebay(the original Minty).

She has the same date as the other old Mintys, early 2011. 

If you are into prototypes/unreleased variants, I would recommend seeking out the older version while you still can. I think she will go the way of Drama Pony and be the unreleased variant. I have a hunch that version 2 of Minty will be the released version.

Wow- there have now been quite a few of each up on ebay-  I wonder which one will be released ??  I hope they go with the non-outlined version, which seems to be somewhat cuter.

I will be able to get a Minty, but I wasn't sure which one I should get. I'm beginning to think that as well. Besides, I like her more than the other one anyway, and we haven't seen the other one until just now and a bunch are popping up, so I think it'd be better for me to get the original. I really hope that this one I'm stalking doesn't sell out before I can get the money to buy her!

(and sorry I keep commenting on this  But it's Minty we're talking about!)
