I caved and bought version A Minty, aka the original release. I know she will probably be released officially as a fair exclusive, but LOL I have been waiting for this moment and saving up for it since last winter. I went ahead and got one but I dont want to pressure people into buying one especially if they dont have the $. I hope she is officially released for everyone that wants one!!! Whats funny is I forgot I emailed Hasbro a while ago about Minty and tried to make it persuasive so they could push her for release. I dont think I had much part into Hasro releasing her, Hasbro probably planned this for a while! Its just funny to my friends and I heehee, such a funny coincidence! xD

Man, I woulda got type A Minty if I knew she was gonna pop up in a few hours x-x It's really weird.. Also, checking one of the eBay auctions, someone took a pic of the bottom of her hooves. It says she was made in early 2010, which either indicates old stock was rooted up, or these are old pics.

I just bought what I hope is a real Type A Minty as well. Need those purple eyes! Plus, if she IS the fair pony, she'll cost as much as she was on eBay, so I won't feel as though I overpaid. Unless she is still lurking somewhere on TaoBao... I checked a few places, but didn't see her.  In any case, I probably trust eBay pictures more than TB pictures and this seller had pics of her from several angles.

Wow, the situation has certainly escalated since the last time I checked! The plot thickens!

Both versions of Minty are on ebay.com. She is actually being listed as Minty now, so a search for "Friendship is Magic Minty" should find them both.

Another thing, why do people think the year marked on the foot means the age of the pony? I thought that those dates reflect when the molds were made, which is why Twirly Treats has her foot marked 2011 despite the fact that shes a 2013 pony.

I'm talking about the black numbers on the bottom of the hoof, not the part that's actually part of the mold itself  The black numbers represent when that specific pony itself was made.
