I'm not really a MLP collector.....I just have two from when I was a child! I'm interested to see if they are worth anything now, although I'm probably going to pass them on to my niece regardless 

And I thought that this would be a good place to do some research! xx

I guess I can start doing some research now! Although from what I've already discovered the Big Brother ponies complete with their accessories and in good condition can be worth a bit.....so I might be tempted to sell one of mine!

I've been having a look around the forum and reading quite a few posts....It's quite overwhelming for a MLP novice!!

I did spot someone selling a hoard of Steamers, and my one is in as good nick, if not better, than the one she priced at $75! So that is encouraging  I'll have to get some photos up for you all to have a look and tell me what you think!

My other MLP is a G1 So-Soft Fifi. She's also in really good condition, but I think she's quite common....so perhaps I'll give her to my neice 

I've also got the Pony Wear Tennis Pack. Complete and in excellent condition too.

And that's it! My parents never bought me any more :'(

Anyway......I'll be back with photos at some point!

I think it's a much better idea to keep your childhood ponies in the family, rather than part with them.  Who knows, if you hang out here for long enough you might end up buying more to go with them

lol Kiwi! Totally! The more I look, the more I want to buy, not sell!! Haha!! Especially when I see all the ponies I wanted as a child, but never had!

I'll definitely take some pics to share here though, as I know that you guys will appreciate them!

I'm not necessarily going to sell them.... But I think I will give them to my niece.... Unless I change my mind!! lol I know that the high price I saw is not necessarily realistic either....it all depends on what people are prepared to pay!

So....going through more stuff, and I've come across a 1986 Activity Book. Do people collect things like that? Even with quite a few of the pages coloured in and drawn on etc??

Yes, people do collect the colouring books. I would say one that was drawn in would have little value other than a 'place keeper' though (that's a place in somebody's collection until they find a better version to upgrade)
