So, this is interesting for those into variants. Apparently, the newer versions of DDG Spectra are coming out with light pink hair streaks. Here's a side-by-side comparison someone posted on flickr, comparing the two versions:

I'm so nervous! Today may be the day they reveal the exclusive! Eek!

Let's hope! It better not be one of the previews they have planned to reveal at a later date, I've been on the edge of my seat all week!

Well in other news, that variant Spectra is quite nice that way and a bit different from her other dolls!  I now will contemplate DDG Spectra a bit more than I have before.

I'm also intrigued by this new re-hair of DDG Spectra.  I didn't want the original one, but might have to check this doll out at the store.

I too am tempted to get that DDG spectra, but I'm not collecting that set...still I like the newer vrsion A LOT better

I definitely want DT Spectra!  Probably will not be released until July like most of the other new dolls.

Well, that was a bust. Oh well, maybe not knowing what the exclusive is for SDCC is for the better, it's one less thing to stress over for the time being. There's already a handful of dolls I know I'm going to be buying this year, so maybe I'll be caught up a bit on my wishlist by the time it's revealed.

No SDCC reveal after all that?  Lame.  Pink stripey variant Spectra is lovely though!  Will keep an eye out for her..

That Spectra is neat! I wonder if it's an intentional change, or more of a factory "whatever, let's just use some of this pink hair" thing  The waist on the dress being different too makes me think the former? Verrry interesting! I like them both, so I'll just be sticking with the regular purple-haired one I already have 

Bummer about the lack of SDCC dolly announcement. That was indeed a bit of a bait and switch, to tag the news post with MH and then NOT ANNOUNCE MH...

To give people a heads up, PD2 dolls have shown up in the Dallas/Ft Worth Texas area. I picked Frankie up today. yay! Only two away from a full PD set! *dance* I'm slowly getting caught up.

What store did you see them in?

I found them at the TRU I work at (the one in Allen).  Someone had already snagged Operetta when I got there, and I picked up Frankie. We DID have a truck last night so we might have gotten more.

The DDG line has never done much for me (in fact, I like the dresses better without the sheer overlays!) so releasing a DDG Spectra Variant is kinda a bummer for me.  If I see one, I'll have to get it, because I'm a nut, but I won't be happy about it

I found the Werecat 3 pack today.  4 of them.  All with a MAJOR flaw.  I really tried to find the best looking set, but in the end I couldn't buy any of them   And I like to think I'm not THAT picky. 

I'm having "DotD Wave 2" stress over here!  I'm afraid since I walked away, I'll never see them again!
