What is this G3 Rarity from?

I was at Goodwill today, and I was really super happy when I found this G3 molded Rarity. She's about the size of a G4, has a glued neck plug, and has a weird thing sticking out of her NDS.

Being the curious pony collector that I am, what can you tell me about her?

She's from a bath tub loofa.  I used to have the set, so I know.  I'm 100% positive. ;) she hung in my shower for quite a few months.  :)

The set came with shower jell, the loofa with Rarity, and a suction cup hanger to hold the loofa.

Actually, Rarity came in (at least) 4 different sets and 2 different years:

That's wonderful.  =D  I bought the top set, with the Star Catcher holder, at Target.  Mine was on clearance.  =P  I'm not normally in the habit of buying MLP shower items, but I couldn't resist that loofa.  :lovey:

What is the point of a twinkling bath thing? Doesn't that seem like a bad idea?

My daughter had that when she was younger, the pony fell off after being used for a long time. I am not sure were it went to anymore......?
