Good luck!! And post pics of her anyway, I would love to see what you've done, you can't see sticky in photos :)

I'm not an experienced customizer so forgive me if this is a silly idea, but have you tried dusting her with talcum powder? Baby powder, cornstarch, or something like it?

I have, but with pastels, I dusted them on with a brush and sealed that but still sticky, but I find it dulls her shimmer quite a lot and makes her look... How's the word,  unfinished? gives her a horrible dulled down look to her. Because she was for sale I was avoiding that, but knowing she does have these issues I wouldn't feel right putting her up for sale haha.

BUT the hot water trick seemed to have worked on her ears, they're no longer sticky!

I'll seal this thing and erase the tackiness, even if it kills me and shatters my soul.

Lol!! I've been waiting for an update!! What sealer are you planning on using? I got a spray from bunnings that was great for the first day, but went sticky by the second, but I haven't had any problems with watered down mod podge :) good news on the ears!!
