Well, it's morning over here anyway.

Hello, nice to meet you all. My name is Laura and I am 23 years old. I live in the Netherlands and have been collecting ponies since I was about 7. Although my early collecting years were primarily because I wanted to play with them. Now I just keep them neat and pretty.

The reason I love collecting them so much now is because of the international pony community. I could trade ponies with someone from Sweden or buy a pony from someone in America. It's so nice to come home and find a parcel waiting for you from the other side of the world! One time I even got a parcel which did not only contain a pony but also a lot of local candy. That was awesome. I sent that person a parcel back with a jar of original Dutch peanutbutter and 'stroopwafels'.

Anyway, that's why I keep collecting I think and it would be nice to share my experiences with you all and looking at pictures from your ponies and your customs (I love customs, so creative and pretty).

If anyone wants to know anything else, just ask!

If you like getting candy from around the world, you're gonna LOVE some of the pony gift swaps that are hosted here! Everyone puts so much care and love into including lots of fun extras along with their trades, which of course can include CANDY. :lol:

I LOVE getting pony packages in the mail too! It's amazing how many wonderful people are out there and I know I've definitely met a lot of them through this site.  I hope you enjoy being here :frolic:
