Meh, they should remove mane and tail hair, enlarge the holes a little bit and WAIT until something (like a bracken or birdseed) to actually grow through the mane and tail holes. It would be an interesting custom project for a dryad pony.

That would be really interesting!

Has anyone contacted the seller to see why she thinks destroying vintage collectibles is a fun project?

I think we should all write to her and ask her to post any vintage girls she finds HERE before turning them into plant monster ponies.  This is even worse than the Lady Gaga pony head necklaces.

"Welcome to my little village of trolls and ponies that succ ♥"

They do suck, you're right!

I'm sending her a message telling her what a bad idea it is to use ponies as plant pots, but I doubt they'll listen.

Tempted to do so. Not that it will probably make a difference, but maybe if I send her the link to this thread... so she can see how many people she's devastating.

Edit: Sent her a message, begging her to spare any additional ponies and to try selling them as-is before she chops them up. I tried not to sound too bitchy.

If you are going to do this to ponies please do this to a bunch of gen 3 pinkie pies , they are numerous enough.  AS for the gen 1 ponies LEAVE THEM ALONE PLEASE !!

I once had the idea of planting a vine inside of a beheaded pony, putting the head on the vine, then seeing if the head would moved around as the vine grew...but cutting it up? That's so unnecessary. Letting something tiny grow out the tailhole might be cute, though. Mot a nice desirable one like Tickle, though. If you're gonna cut up old toys, do your research!
I'll put something here some time

"Thanks for your concern, but I've been making these for awhile and I have customers who love and collect them. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean everyone else has to. You do what you want with your ponies and mind your own business."

Makes me wonder if they're aware of this thread. My message said nothing about not liking them and wasn't rude, just that its a horrible idea to use them as planters because they're so susceptible to mildew, mold, and rust and they'd probably make more money with less effort just selling the ponies.

They obviously don't care, so I guess all we can do is hope they never get their hands on a nirvana or a Mimic. And that they don't buy a bunch of G1 lots and destroy the ponies to ~get back at us~ who ~dared to message her~.
