Another white-socks-with-sandals ambassador of Germany.
(Even though I hate sandals  and hardly ever wear socks with a significant white content. But - shhhh! We don't want to ruin peoples' stereotypes, do we?  )
Visited most of the Northern, Western and Central European countries so far:
Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and Switzerland.
(And I'm absolutely in love with the UK, Northern Europe and the French Provence.  )
Almost 10 years ago I visited the USA (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and the Airports of Chicago and NYC) and spent Christmas and New Year's Eve there. I enjoyed the American friendliness and loved your strawberry lemonade, but in some regards it was more of a culture shock than I had expected. Fun prank for Americans: get a can of root beer, offer it to a non-suspecting German. Enjoy the reaction!*

*) The American author believes that root beer reminds Germans of something their dentists use. That's only partly correct: it reminds us of a concoction of mouth rinse, cough syrup, nail polish remover and unidentifyable contents of great grandma's medicine closet. Our shock is enhanced by the fact that we expect that brown, foamy drink to taste like malt beer or cola.

To be honest, I believe that wearing white socks is more of an American than a German thing, is it? Those white, thick ones. Grey around the toes, separated from the rest with a thin red line. My ex (from Michigan) had tons of them, and all my other American friends, too. Even the goths. However, average Germans without American friends aren't aware of that.
Oh, and we love our self-depreciating stereotypes of rednecky and rude middle-aged German tourists with mullet, beergut, socks and sandals.

I'm from Canada, born and raised 

I have been to many parts of the US, Mexico, the UK, and Croatia. My husband and I will be going on our belated honeymoon in May to Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia and England  It will be worth the wait!

I have seen a couple other people from Norway here, but most aren't very active I guess. I'm here from time to time though ^^, been busy with my baby lately .
Anyway Scandinavia would be good as a alternative. I'm not sure if Iceland is part of that though. I was born in Norway and live here now. I have lived two years in England and my partner is english so I go there frequently . I have also been to Sweden, Denmark, Poland and Germany.

I'm from Poland. Voted "European Union" instead of "Easter Europe", because my country's one of the members.

I've visited only a few places, mostly in Europe: Belgium, Hungary, Russia, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy and the UK.

For a year I also lived in the States with my Mom and sister, and even went to school there - it was roughly ten years ago. Though there are things I like about my country, I still somewhat wish that we hadn't gone back to Poland.

the furthest away i've been is France on a school trip in 1996

my husband is South African so we do plan on going out there when the kids are older, I also want to go to Disney World Florida and Japan one day

I am incredibly well travelled though. Seen all of Europe, Russia, Africa, a good portion of the US, Canada, Aus and NZ.
Hoping to go to Japan, China and Thailand at some point in the future.
