Hello, everyone!
I heard this site mentioned a few times as being a pleasant and friendly MLP forum, and thought I'd join up and see for myself.
I'm rather new to all of this--my current collection is, well, nonexistent. I never owned any My Little Ponies as a child, though I remember envying my friend's herd when I went over to her house. When G4 came around, and the show became something of an Internet phenomenon, I tried watching it to see what all the fuss about, and found myself enjoying it quite a bit--and also developing an interest in collecting (though my budget's a bit tight at the moment, so I'll have to start small). I also love the idea of doing custom ponies--I've seen some really gorgeous ones! Someday, perhaps, I'll have a go at it, but for now I'll probably just admire other people's customs.
I'm currently mostly interested in G4, as that's the generation I'm most familiar with at present, but I've also seen some lovely G1s and G3s. The sheer number and variety of ponies out there is a bit dizzying--I still feel like I'm trying to get my bearings!
