Looking for someone to make some custom pony stuff for my wedding

Hey all!

I'm looking to get some pony stuff and star wars stuff made for my wedding. I want to have ponies and star wars involved in the wedding, just in a subtle way so it will be an inside thing for me and my wedding party.

I'm specifically looking for some pins to be made to fasten on the boutonnieres for the groomsmen (these will be star wars symbols)

I'm also looking to get brooches and/or earrings made for the bridesmaids to be Pony Cutie marks, which cutie marks are yet to be determined.

They won't need a whole lot of detail on them, just the symbols themselves and all of them would be silver in color.

If anyone has done anything like this, please contact me, I'm looking to do it as inexpensively as possible, I would need them done by June at the latest.

I'm not sure what sizes yet.... or what symbols yet. Clay would probably work painted silver

pretty sure Firefly and Rarity are gonna be two of them at least

trying to get favorite ponies from the bridesmaids, and I'm probably gonna get one of the wedding themed ponies for myself, or possibly my ponysona

I want them to be subtle, but the brooches will have to be fairly big they're going in a certain spot on the dress, and I'd like them decorated with rhinestones if possible actually to make them sparkle --- haven't decided for sure if I want to do brooches or earrings or both though

hm, i guess one can do these well out of polymer clas and then paint it silver, or are you looking more for actual metal here? then i am out.

First of all, congratulations!!!  Weddings are so exciting and stressful at the same time. X3  Some advice that you can take or leave; When it comes to family and what they want, let them have the little things but fight for what you and your fiancee really want.  ^^

About the pieces that you want:  I have a friend who is a jewelry maker and I've seen her use this stuff to great effect:  http://www.firemountaingems.com/itemdetails/H206153BS  It's silver clay that you can work just like clay, but after you fire it, it's a 99% silver piece of jewelry.  ^^  Just putting it out there for your consideration!  ^-^

Wow that sounds cool I may have to check that out if it isn't super expensive, can't see it atm since I am on my phone.

My family has next to no say in the wedding, as my mom is very unsupportive and I'm not on speaking terms with her, and my dad said to do whatever I want. His dad is uninvolved by choice, but his mom has some suggestions which I am open to. But in the end we are paying for it and it is our day so we get what we want

The clay isn't cheap, but it's hard to say if it's expensive or not.  A friend who makes 1 1/2" charms out of Fimo can get 10-15 of them out of one 50g pack, approximately one 1 1/2" charm per 2g.   The silver clay comes in 10g packs for roughly $30 so... *shrugs* It really depends on how many bridesmaids you've got and how big you want the charms.    Or if you wanted one for yourself, then see if someone can make YOURS out of silver clay and the others out of Fimo.  ^^

Cost wise, your best bet is to use silver colored fimo to make them.  ^^
