Oh my gosh, THANK YOU for this! I'll have to re-do all my prices in my Etsy shop! It's gonna cost American customers an extra dollar for me to ship to them! Grah!

They only increased them last April! Bleh!     This doesnt surprise me at all but it it does make me feel angry . People just dont have money here anymore, everything is costing crazy money, and everything is rising except the number of jobs and the wages people get.    The Royal Mail prices are ridiculous as it is,  especially as the service has got much worse since the last price increase too

Basically what is going to happen is everyone is going to start using courriers instead.

Royal mail is a royal rip off especially for students like me who cant get a part time job and I have to fund myself for uni and living costs (no loan for me!)

But couriers are terrible. They just mean if I'm not in I can never get the parcel as I don't drive so I can't get to their silly far away depots. I'm sad about this price increase but RM is still the only viable option for me really, since I can get to post offices and my PO depot fairly easily.

Ugh, I only just learned the previous prices! It also means I'll probably get fewer international eBay bidders as I can't afford to offer shipping below cost.

Well.... there goes another place to buy from unless I'm desperate. This sort of stuff truly makes buying ponies (or almost anything) from overseas darn near impossible if you're scrooge-like like me and always factor in the overall cost when buying (pony + shipping).

I was told this by my postoffice a month ago, it's really awful, they said April but didn't confirm a date.
I won't be trading with the USA anymore then
