Slightly annoyed with BJD seller, am I being a baby?

I admit my first reaction was like, "Well it's just an extra pair of hands," and thought you were being a little fussy, but the hands she sent are stained AND they're $23 to replace? Not cool. Any good seller should stick to their word.

I'd give the seller a few days to locate the extra hands. If she can't then she needs to refund you the cost of a new pair. Mistakes happen and all, but an honest seller will want to  make it right.

Well I'm sorry about that. I really don't recall putting that in there, but I believe you, of course. ^^ If I find a second set, I'll definitely ship them to you. Sorry for the confusion, again! >.<

Oh wow.  Not sure what you can do.  Maybe send her a copy of the post so she can see that she said the doll would come with an extra set of hands?  It's tough because she was kind enough to send extra goodies but they weren't anything you asked for.

The only other thing I can think of is to ask for a partial refund.  I'm just forward enough that I'd probably ask if she used another template for her thread, maybe the second set of hands belonged to another doll she sold. 

Ugh, I'm really sorry, the situation seems very awkward.

I'd give her a reasonable amount of time (a week?) to find and send the hands or ask for a partial refund to cover the cost of a new pair of hands. If she doesn't find the hands offered in the post nor will offer a refund to cover what was left out, I'd open a problem transactions thread.

Pretty much sucks that she's sort of blaming you for pointing out her mistake. Intentional or not.

Something is wrong with that seller. :/ I can't believe anyone would post a sales thread and not know what it promises, I really doubt it was a mistake. But I reread my sale threads 20+ times to make sure everything is right, and I always assumed others did the same (even if not quite as many times). All of this "I don't know anything about that" is really suspicious to me, if it was a mistake or they lost the hands why can't they just admit it?

Regardless, its their error. The thread promised you extra hands, and although the unexpected extras were very nice of her she still didn't give you what she said she would. I agree with asking for a partial refund. And if they don't give it I'd file a Paypal claim and leave appropriate feedback.

Well I wrote her back and said that if she found the other set I would love to have them, that I had cleaned the black off this set but there was still some staining. I also included the screenshot. I'll give her a couple of days and see if she confesses. I don't care if she lost them but don't pretend like they never existed! I emailed Denver Doll and they have some in stock so I went ahead and ordered them. I would have been really mad if I would have had a three month wait from Fairyland for a set.

That's what I think, too... 

I would be filing charges for a refund on your CC or Paypal account.  The sales ad clearly states "extra hands", which are a $23 value... not sending them is akin to theft and fraud.

SO confused. Now she says if she finds them she'll send them to me. So obviously she had/has them. I asked for a partial refund if she can't find them.

I hope she makes things right either way. She sounds like she might be a little immature. When it comes down to it this is a business transaction and she should be taking responsibility for her ad. Even if she does send you the hands or a refund, I'd note in her feedback something like there was a mix up about a second set of hands, blah blah blah. Not being nasty or anything, just noting the facts. If she sells anything else her buyers need to know she's kind of a flake. That's easy for me to say, of course. It's an awkward situation to be in!
