Ever since I got back into ponies I loved RaMC! The idea of a dark centaur as the villain just clicked with me and I liked the contrast of the cute and colorful ponies to the rather creepy creature designs. Plus, his horns are kind of cute

Same here. It was my favorite episode as a kid and it ended up drawing me back into the pony-fan community. I know, right!? He's incredible and his species fits so well with both the series and his character. I also think his horns are cute. And his neck fluff... and the circles under his eyes... and his short poofy tail and... alright. I can do this for hours. I'll stop now. But the point remains.

I have yet to read your other stories as Roleplaying is taking up a heap of time but my friend has and she loves it. I'm going to as soon as the spring rolls around completely. I'm really looking forward to that one especially.

I like fan fics, though when it comes to pre-FiM MLP I've yet to read some...

I'm also planning on writing some G1-based fics myself, though knowing me and how awkward it is for me to get all my stories poured down on paper, it'll take a while before I get something.     

Currently, I'm in the process of world-building: it's going to be a G1-based world with some elements borrowed from FiM. Aside from ponies I plan on including other creatures and races, among them being Katrina's people and Scorpan's race (just a note: in my universe Scorpan doesn't change back into a human).

Like I said though, all this is still in development. Though I might post some "concept art" at some point in the future.

Also, a couple months ago, I did once write a "test" chapter for a Transformers/MLP crossover based on this picture. Like I said, it's still a beta chapter that needs some revising before I decide to show it off to the world.

And I agree with you guys: Tirek/Tirac is indeed one awesome villain.

Tirek is amazing, I created an entire backstory for him that others may or may not agree with. Would love to read that crossover story of yours when you get it done, Moonracer! And that art in your signature is amazing!

Right now, I'm trying to get a proofreader for my stories, and maybe an artist or two who would like to draw stuff from my fics. I'll also be keeping an eye open for good fics to read, so keep writing everybody!

And I started a G1/G1.5 fanfic of short stories based around a main plot. Dream Castle is a Boarding School, Paradise Estate is a private dorm for the Sixth Formers and Year 11, the Lullaby Nursery is a cress for little sisters / brothers or orphans to adopt and the Baby Bonnet School of Dance is a studio and stage for any pony with a performing arts talent. Majesty is the Headmistress. Each story introduces new characters. Some stories with be from the students point of view and some will be from the teachers point of view. It'll stray from the plot or stay on the plot depending on which group's point of view it is.

I find the idea of G1 coming after G4 intriuging!  Probably in part because I really enjoy fics dealing with the aftermath of massive societal struggles / change.  Not necessarily "post-apocalyptic fics" in the sense of "wandering around a radioactive wasteland", but lands with hints that something came before and has since passed away.

Anyway, I just added another chapter to Gobbling and Other Traditional Pursuits, a collection of pony folktales.

. . . actually the latest entry is a story I wrote long ago for G1.  It really works for any generation because, hey, folk tale.

Oh! Oh! I wrote one! It was for a fic exchange. It's a G1 story that I tried to write like it was an episode of the show. LadyMoondancer kindly let me rehost her pony comic scans so I could use them to explain various bits of canon I was using for the story!

Unsure whether it's been mentioned yet, but there's a G4 crossover with G1/G1.5/G3/G3.5 called A Pony and A Portal. It's got quite an interesting take on some things from G1.5 and G1, like Megan being the equivalent of a power hungry demon and that the Tales ponies mutilate themselves to bend their hooves like that.

I just tried reading through it...and I honestly wouldn't suggest this fic to anyone who has at least a shred of respect for the G1-G3.5 ponies. I could see how the looks and customs of the other pony universes would be strange to the G4 ponies and it's a very interesting concept, but this fic is blatantly bashing every other gen and honestly left a very sour taste in my mouth. I'm not really into bashfics and hopefully there are other fics out there that explore this idea with a bit more respect.
