Is it finally safe to order from Dollyhair again?

My little customs is more pricey, at first I didn't mind cause the service was fantastic. But majority of the hanks were under 13 grams, half of them under 12. So if my current order from dollyhair works out, I'll be sticking with them.

I think I would rather order from Retrodolls at this point. I don't need hair and I haven't placed an order there, but I can tell from all the networking and advertising, she REALLY cares about her business and her customers.

Haha, same. I just ordered $93 worth of hair off DH yesterday and I got my confirmation email. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly! My Argie Moonie will arrive any time soon, and she will need the hair!

I already posted this elsewhere here... But I ordered from Dollyhair on Jan 18th and the order arrived today (International shipping). So I think the shipping was just as quick as previously when I have ordered from them.

Though, my parcel was missing some of the reroot needles I ordered. But maybe they will be shipped separately later because of the information about the lack of reroot needles on the Dollyhair site...

The new green nylon hair colours are lovely.

I ordered last Thursday and the hair got to me by Wednesday.  Only a few hanks were slightly underweight at 15g but they were consistent for all of those particular colors (I ordered multiples of several colors), and the rest were all either 16g or over that, and there were 3 free gift hanks included as well.

I ordered a small for me order a week ago of a few colors I really needed (5 hanks), and it arrived within a week and everything appeared to be back to the usual hank size.

I broke 2 of my 3 needles after I placed my order. Grrr! I just experimented with an embroidery needle, wire cutters and a metal nail file. I just did one plug to see how it was, and it worked! Don't know how it will go with a whole reroot, but it's something to think about if you're desperate

I've been out of the loop for a bit and just got a glimpse at the new greens available at DH. I've been waiting FOREVER for a nice selection of lighter greens and I love Tennis Ball, Guacamole and Spring Meadow. I'll definitley be placing an order soon.

I am glad you posted this, I wanted to report that while I never had problems with DH, I was disappointed with the hair weight for a while there and my most recent order (2 weeks ago?) the hanks were at least as full as before if not more so I will definitely be ordering more from them. Their new colors are fantastic!

I did order some new hair before and after fiasco. Needless to say, Tina has rectified the problems with me. I do shopping with both Dollyhair and Retrodolls US and UK (if the US doesn't have what I need). Shipping has always been fine with me and the hair is just beautiful. Sadly, I have this huge collection of hair now and not enough output of pony making!
