Super pony collector bummer!!

For the first time in 4 years I broke all my ponies free so I could have some eye candy, and also to see where I need to pick up again......I remember, as I was pulling them out, telling hubby: "I have the whole series of these...!" a few times.

Well, standing back looking at all of them, I'm realizing there are many missing...as in probably a whole box of them! I noticed that Bubbles was missing, then SS Lofty, then Tuneful, where are my Milkweed & Tumbleweed babies?, OMG Quarterback, Steamer, where are you guys??! 

I'm about 99% sure that the military moving company "lost" one of my boxes of ponies (Last time I moved 4 years ago!)! I am a neat-freak who has no hoarding storage spots & I have desperately searched EVERYWHERE in my house...to find no pony box.....this is a sad, sad day of realization.

I guess I'll start looking at eBay again for specific ponies. *sigh*

millitery movers have a habit for "loosing" boxes
When we went from uk to Germany we had so much missing , I'm dreading the next pcs .

Can you do a clame? Or is it to long ago now .

Oh, BabyInBlue, my heart goes out to you!  I'm the victim of a moving loss, too - about half my collection, and certainly all my favourites, went astray in my last move, maybe ten years ago.  That's actually a big part of what eventually brought me to the Arena: seeking to recreate my original herd.

I hope you do find them (mislabelled, maybe?) somewhere, and if you don't, I wish you every luck in finding replacements.

That's horrible.  G1's aren't easily found unless you buy them online or get lucky and find them at a fleamarket, yard sale or place like salvation army.  I really hope they were misplaced but if not that's on the movers and hopefully you can be compensated somehow.

Aw, I'm so sorry! 

I hope they were just temporarily misplaced and not lost. I'm still missing my SSN Hushabye from our house renovation last year but I'm still hoping she's in a box somewhere.  Hopefully, yours will turn up soon, too.

Thanks guys....I knew I would feel a little better by crying on some ponypal's shoulders! Unfortunately, it's been way too long & I havr no way of proving the loss (other than me knowing I didn't hallucinate having complete series of ponies!)....I'm going to have to chalk it up to the pony Gods, and find new babies!

I'm really sorry to hear that.  

Something very similar happened to me with with my ponies. A few years ago I got them all out of storage. They'd been in boxes for several years. There were sets that I thought I had completed, but several of my ponies seemed to have disappeared. I thought I had the whole set of Sparkle SHS ponies but I only had two. I am also missing some flutters and Magic Message ponies. I have no idea what could have happened to them.
