Hi all!
I'm actually not a new member, I'm a VERY OOOOLLLD member that hasnt been here in 7-8 years, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself as I don't know if people are still around from that long ago.
Anyway, I left off collecting and participating in boards, etc because I started Veterinary School at Ohio State in 2006. I kept them on display, but REALLY didn't have time to be involved with them with studying. Well, I graduated in 2010 and got a job in Cleveland, where I still reside. I also got married later in the year 2010 (actually it was 10-10-10 precisely!) and my husband and I are doing well. No kids yet - potentially in the next year or two. We have 3 cats and that makes us happy! Other than that, outside of ponies, I also sing in a barbershop chorus
Anyway, things have settled down at work and I want to get back to collecting. Although sadly right now my girls are in storage - we're in a 500 sq. ft one bedroom apt right now, so just not the space. Well, even if I don't display them, I'll at least pull my trade box out and get started!
I officially started collecting in 2004, started with childhood toys. At the time, between my sister and I we had...12-16 (?). Now I have over 100. An ex-boyfriend got me into collecting the G3's, which were new at the time, but since then I've decided to only focus on the G1's. So I'll be trading and/or customizing the G3's that I do have.
I'm...not interested in the G4's. No, I'm not a hater, just not interested. To each, their own.
I do artwork and fanfic though. All of the art is from back in 2005, but I've been working on a few fanfics throughout for several years.
Anyway, give me a shout if you remember me... would love to catch up with the old gang.
