Whew! spent today looking at 7 apartments, found a high-rise building just up the street from me that has 2 different apartments for rent right now (one is a 1bed 1bath, the other is a 2bed 1 bath) the two bedroom one isn't finished with it's renovations yet. My fiancee and I are hoping to move immediately so we (and our collections) can be safe from water damage.

It turns out the property-owner collects G1 ponies! she has 7 G1's and a G4 Applejack hanging around in her office. I'm looking up on strawberry reef to see if I can identify them (i'm not super-experienced with any gen below G4, but i'm getting better!)

I'm not a fan of the original cartoon - its just so...childish and girly. I dont think I liked it even as a kid.
I tried watching an episode tonight on youtube but ended up going with the crystal empire instead.

funny. i didn't know they made any ponies past g1 until someone asked for a pony art commission at a anime convention. when they said g4 style, my reaction was " umm uh what now?"
didn't get into the new ponies until july last year. so no worries on the gen stuff.

So I have a general question...

I was planning on making my partner some homemade goodies tomorrow and then shipping their box... And it will be going priority and according to the USPS website, should get there Saturday. But I'm worried about it not getting there by Saturday for some reason and then it having to sit in the sorting facility until Monday and the homemade stuff getting stale :/. Should I trust the website or just wait until next week?

I seen pictures of the toy fair on the MLPTP, so I new G4 was comming but i it wasn't for the show, I would be like EWWW! Those deer like creatures are NOT ponies!
G1 will always be my true love. G4 and G3 are neat but NO way in hell for G2

Their colors are nice but the style of the mold is just...ick

i guess if it was me getting it, i would rather wait till next week.
even if i can't eat them all, it's more difficult to share stale snacks with others.

what are you making? If its like cookies, I would put them in a ziploc bag and maybe remove all the air so they stay soft?
my cookies always end up burnt anyways

Did you already make them? If you did then I would ship tomorrow otherwise they will still be sitting around for few days - weather it be at the PO or your house.

No I was planning on making them tomorrow morning then shipping after like tomorrow afternoon. But I'm worried they won't get there before the weekend is over. So I'm wondering if I should wait and make everything next week and send it then.

I agree with Tiki, just put them in a Ziploc bag and remove all of the air. ^_^ That's how I keep my gummi bears fresh for weeks!

I love that kind of stuf...

I got the items I was waiting on in the mail!!! I am hoping that they are correct as they are extremely small - I thought they would be bigger!!!! Seem to me that the $25 didn't go very far as all my things are little, feels like there should be more though I have went slightly over budget.

I did get my random item for my partner and it is usable too, not just a collectable!

I still have to get a couple of extras that I want and a small thing of candy...

I'm not gonna be able to ship yet either, will probably be more toward the last days...
