Great post!  It's interesting seeing how diverse the line became, when it started out with just earth ponies the first year!

The first time I saw G1 Pegasi I thought it was so odd because they had such tiny wings and big bodies! 

I always imagined that G1 pegasi just had their wings folded down like a swan and if they were flying the wings would unfold and be a lot bigger.
