The first time I saw G1 Pegasi I thought it was so odd because they had such tiny wings and big bodies!  :lol:

When it comes to animation, I think Firefly had the best, most realistic wings out of them all.  Then when it comes to the actual toys, I think Firefly and Medley (and anyone else in that pose) had, again, the best, most realistic wings.
