That is interesting!  If anyone gets a new Rainbow Dash- can you please post a picture?  I'd love to see if the new paint job warrants a new purchase...

Yeah, I recently got the "grey crosseyed pegasus who delivers mail and loves muffins" pony from Hot Topic, too. Now I own both versions. The one with the incorrect cutie mark and the one with the correct one.  ;)

I bought both figures at Hot Topic a month or so back... What was wrong with Bubbles' symbol? I saw problems with the Rainbow Dash, especially on her face, but I thought Bubbles was okay...

The first version had five bubbles in her symbol instead of the seven she usually has, the bubbles also look rounder on the newer version. Here's a thread with pictures for comparison:

Ohh, I see! That looks a little better; the bubbles on the first version look really stretched and warped... I may just have to shell out some more cash to get the newer version.

Same here.:) That's why I had to go back because I wanted both versions. Then I noticed that Rainbow Dashes paint job looked much nicer this time around so I picked her up also. I'd previously skipped out on her because I couldn't find a single one that didn't have sloppy paint.

Is Rainbow Dash's mold any less noticeable on her face..? When I went and bought mine, all of them had a really prominent circular mark on their DS cheeks from the mold they were made in. :/

I am sure the fill mark (referred to above) will still show up- since that has to do with the mold- rather than painting-

I am hoping they fixed RD's mane...

That ugly circle she had on her cheek was more smoothed over also. I'm a super picky collecter so that was one of the flaws on her that made me pass on her the first time around besides the sloppy paint.

I almost passed on Rainbow Dash when I saw that every single one of them had that right there on her display side... but I thought it would be my only chance to get her. Oh well.

Does everyone think they are worth the money for them? I have yet to see them in person!
