Christmas is always something that my parents have made special, ever since I was a little girl.  And while me and my sister have since moved out (leaving my youngest sister at home w/my parents), that has never stopped them from putting tons of thought and love into our holiday.  This year was no exception!  Though this year, my mom decided to go... VINTAGE[/B]!!!

My youngest sister got Dora stuff (she's almost 12), and my 20 yr old sister got some amazing Lion King Stuff.  My dad is getting (WIP!) a vintage GI Joe from the 60's and Mom got some Kewpie Dolls.

And me, you ask???  Well, Mom knows that I am all over the pony scene, so that wouldn't be anything overly special...so...I opened my gifts to find...

Such a perfect gift for me!  Totally took me back, and made me cry just a touch.  :blush:  I love love love them!  Though I keep looking the smooshies to my two small boys. :silly:  Also not pictured is a vintage Care Bears coffee mug from the 80's!  And Mom even found vintage TMNT (Ninja Turtles for those unfamiliar) for my hubby too!

A wonderful Christmas all around!  ^_^

Finally a parent that actually understands the sentimental value of giving 80s toys to their grown up children without saying that we need to grow up! LOL Your mom is awesome!!! And I love the smooshys I remember those! :lovey:
