G4s are Tiny!

Just found Rarity and Twinkleshine playful pony size (4"?) at thrift and I cleaned them up.  But wow their small size makes them harder for me to clean and spruce up their hair!  I haven't really had to clean up any G4s before and it was tricky!  Felt all fumbly and had the darndest time putting Rarity's hair in a curler!

I guess all those G3s, G1s I've cleaned up make these seem tiny in comparison now.

Anyone else have trouble "getting a grip" on these G4s?

I have trouble styling them too! I normally have to hold them in place between my knees, they are cute though. I like small ponies.

Yeah, they're very small, aren't they?  The few times I've picked them up thrifting, I've had issues cleaning them and taking photos of them because they're so small - but I still like them.

They are adorable at this size, just hadn't clean up any yet.

Yeah, they're pretty darn small. Thankfully I started out with G4s so it's not too bad, .

I only have two G1s and a whole bunch of G4s and the G1s tower over my collection. I restarted collecting with G4s but started with G1s so I remember the size of G1s and thought the same thing about G4s.

I had some trouble styling Pinkie's curls because of how tiny they are, but not only that, I've almost past them up at thrift stores because I thought they were McDonald's ponies!

I was kind of disapointed with the size originally but I DO have space issues ; And they use so little hair if you need to reroot!

The size difference is one of the major factors in why I don't really like G4.  I have some but I really am not attached to them, they are all souvenirs from travelling in the States last year.

Yes they are small and can fit more on the shelf! But I do not want to think what it would be like rehairing them!

Have you tried to customize one? The symbols are hard to paint that small, but I just use a tiny brush. The plus side though, it takes no time at all to rehair them!
