So my question is, how important is it that the head is movable on the pony? Should I glue it on or start over again on a new pony?

Actually, I would prefer to receive the pony "as-is" with the loose head rather than you gluing it on. Then, if I feel gluing is necessary, I can glue it on exactly how I want it to be, heh. I display my ponies with their heads turned at a very steep angle. And I'd also like to choose the display side on my own to fit with the needs of my pony shelf (assuming the cutie mark is on both sides). 

Thanks for asking rather than just gluing it! Most of the customs I've received from swaps have had their heads glued on It's fine, but always slightly disappointing.

And, about the hair, again, it's fine. I'm actually working from pictures online as well. As for cutie marks, I don't mind if it's only on one side, if that makes it easier for you. I'm probably only going to paint on one side myself...

extras- I'm good with anything that's not grape flavor

Hair- I like straw curls best but normal straight is fine, if you wanna get creative with the hair and do a sorta 'perfume puff' look that's cool too

Cutie mark- just one side is fine, it's a G4 so that's kinda what I expect

head- I'd rather have the head moveable then just glued on

Damn it -- I just finished painting the pony, and then realized that the color is too dark to be a match. Ugh -- guess I'll have to try again. >.<

If you find you can only do one side that's fine.  I personally am going to be doing symbols on both sides, since that is how I roll.

to answer my own question about base colours: it's okay for it to be too light or too dark as long as the hue is in the right general area.  I trust your judgement in colour theory

if i can get them to match exactly i put them on both sides. when i do oc or original customs both of the cutie marks are different. ( like a rose. bud and in bloom etc)
but i'm cool with one side.

To answer the latest questions...

My list was in no particular order, I'd love any of them!

I don't mind if the pony is show accurate or bb accurate, either is fine.

Don't worry too much about color matching the hair, so long as it's fairly close I'll be happy.

If you need to glue the head feel free to do so! I know how tricky G4 heads can be. Like others, all I ask for is a slight angle maybe.

I'm fine with double or a single cutie mark.

I think that's all of the questions. A little random tidbit: if you'd like to do perfume puff hair, partner, that's cool with me too I've never actually owned a pony with mohair or brushed out yarn, just one doll.

To answer some questions:

-I don't mind if the head has to be glued on, just add a little note in when you ship her so I don't go twistin' her head. Also, a slight tilt to the head would be greatly appreciated.

-It doesn't matter to me if you do one or two symbols, just do what you feel is most comfortable to do

-Slight colour mismatches are fine with me, as long as you tried to make it as close as you can. That's all that matters to me. I'd also prefer to have regular nylon hair as opposed to perfume puff or mohair.

-in regards to online pictures as references, I don't mind at all if you use them I have no choice but to use them because of my lacking blind bag collection
