G4 Blind Bag to Brushable Swap -- SHIPPING AND RECEIVING!

Well, I managed to salvage just enough primer to cover the pony, so I have started painting!

Ok, I've narrowed down the list to 3 ponies. Now I need to track down these blind bags, then I'll start painting.

As for the other stuff, I did not list the ponies in any particular order. Extras are nice, but not expected. I'd rather receive a pony that someone put a lot of effort into. That is, a or at least should be, the focus of the swap.

I do not think I put mine in any list either, and as I said whatever ya'll wanna do with hair is fine by me!!

Now I have a question for everyone, lets say your partner was making your pony, stripped a bait, full body repainted with 8 coats to get it perfect, got the eyes and cute mark done, sealed, was so so proud, got the right hair color, re haired the pony, broke 4 needles in the process, and but when the pony was done thought it was totally worth it because its perfect.....

until the head reattachment.... somehow the neck has stretched enough to not fit the plug anymore. D: So I thought about gluing it however I don't want to do that in case my partner doesn't like it.

So my question is, how important is it that the head is movable on the pony? Should I glue it on or start over again on a new pony?

I don't care if the head can't move. I can't get the head to move even when I do use the neckplug. Just as long as the head is reattached nicely, I'm fine.

My list wasn't in any sort of order either, I just kind of put them down as I narrowed down my large list of likes  

I also don't mind if the pony's head doesn't turn, but I'm thinking a slight head turn before gluing would make it uber cute ^-^  Rather than have the pony looking straight forward with the body.

Yes, I agree. I like to put their heads on at a slight angle -- not staring straight at you, but not looking straight ahead, either.

Partner, how important is an exact color match for the hair?  There are several that are close, but I'm having trouble finding any that are spot on.

A slight mismatch is fine, as long as its close. If it resembles the original blind bag still, I'm fine.

slight mismatch hair is good for me. I realize pony hair colors can be super hard to match perfectly sometimes. As for you guys I'm with you on the heads being slightly turned. What about everyone else? To glue, not to glue and just re-do?

Personally I never glue heads on. Off rather redo it. However, I don't mind if my partner glues it on, but in that case I'd prefer if it's turned a bit.

I'm not picky about hair either. Just match it as close as possible. If anyone is looking for any particular color, let me know. I have hundreds of hanks of hair.

I agree with the slightly turned head rather than straight on. I don't mind if it doesn't move.
Hair as close as you can manage, it's fine.

I understand if things happen and the head has to be glued, as long as it's got a bit of an angle to it so it displays nice.  And a note maybe perhaps because I know when I was showing one of my head fixed in place customs to someone she started yanking to try and twist it! :O  I know you folks know to be gentle but still.

I'd like the hair colour to be as close as you can manage, but don't stress yourself out over it.

Question: I don't have the blindbag pony that I'm doing the brushable of, so I'm working from pictures... I'm trying my best but it may end up not being a 100% colour match, is that okay?

I honestly don't care if the hair isn't an exact match. As long as it looks close. Also, the head being glued doesn't bother me. Although, I don't know if the head being loose would bother me much either. I'm pretty easy to please .

slight turn is cool. and yeah i don't mind if it's glued. (though i have several ponies that i never clued down in my personal collection. i forget and heads go a rolling )
i don't mind mismatched colors as long as you can tell which pony it is, i'm cool. so no green for pinkie pie, but any pink would be fine (example)
