Is good condition Majesty HTF?

I have recently been looking into acquiring a good condition Majesty (My Majesty is horribly discolored with mane and tail trim and hard as a rock) and realized that most images I've seen of her are in fairly bad condition. I'm wondering is she more prone to cancer/browning than other ponies? Also, just how rare is Majesty in a good condition? It's hard to obtain the Dream Castle but I have several baits of her. Was a mail order of her ever released?

From what I've seen, very rare.  The ones that I have seen either had bad symbols or brown head.  I've never seen a near-perfect one.

As for mail order, I'm not aware of any, but I'm not the most knowledgeable about G1's anyway.  I'll leave that one for someone else.

Oh dear... I figured that's how it was. Yeah. The browning is very noticeable.

Well, there is a mail order Spike, I always thought that he came with Majesty in the mail order.

I thought there was a m/o version but mylittlewiki doesn't list one...

I found another issue with her is her pose, the glory-pose tends to warm and she doesn't stand well. I was lucky enough to find one in good shape that stands up.  She didn't cost much 5-6 years ago when I got her so I assumed she was common... perhaps I got lucky.

There is a mail-order version of her.  I own her but I think she's a little harder to find.  She also doesn't have the receding hairline that the Dream Castle Majesties suffer from.

I got mine in pretty much perfect condition years ago. Maybe she was indeed more common to come across years ago.

Right now I got a double from a lot, but aside from some minor issues she looks very nice. Very white, no discolouring or cancer.

So from my experience, no. She's not that hard to find in ok-good condition. But maybe I've just been lucky.

It's a Mohawk. So yes. I'm absolutely sure.

I've never ran across a nice Majesty. They've always been plagued with bad hair for some reason, and the colors were always off. I bet she's pretty in mint condition.

I was SUPER lucky to come across a MINTY Majesty about a year or so ago through a seller here on the Arena. All other ones I've looked at have either been discolored, or their manes have had the WORST mane cuts.

I did acquire another one recently from a friend who found a bag of her daughters old G1's, fakies, some Pixietails, Silkypup, Cloe ( Fashion Star Filly ), and Arrow from She-ra. Majesty was in it, but it looks like she got a bad trim and has a smudge on her muzzle that I can't get rid of by my usual cleaning methods. Her mane and tail are silky, but it's that poor, unstyled, but badly trimmed mane of hers.

I almost want to rehair her, like I did with my TE Speedy ( oooh, poor girl had a gummed up tattered pony fro. ;~; ). May really consider it if I decide to sell her, but I have to get rid of that smudge without attempting a sun fade, which can take a looooooooooooooong time to do.

I know I sure have a hard time finding her in good shape. The one I have in my collection is icky. She was my FIRST pony I ever found at a flea market when I started collecting as a child. I fell in love with her and carried her everywhere with me. Even back then, fifteen years ago, she was in dingy shape.

I'd LOVE to have a minty, bright white one. Her design is simple but gorgeous.

really - I've never run across a bad one - well except maybe that one with the symbols worn off - but never discolored.

The best ones I've seen have been always a shade off of true white... I've seen some customs who are just gorgeous... and I've seen that one very rare majesty MIP who was stark white, but normally they seem to have had a lot of love and a lot of play time and gotten very dingy!

Lol...the mysterious mystery white Majesty...does she exist? Nope

I have seen pictures of gorgeous minty ones and thanks to a lovely swap box earlier in the year I do have a very very nice one now but every single one I see is anything from creamy yellow to a shade or two removed from white. It may be barely perceptible but the off white-ness is just there...I am thinking originally she probably was not a clear and shining brilliant pure white; white yes but not brilliant white. 

And yes there is a mail order version - she was offered mail order along with a selection of the other playset ponies.
