saw a pony ride with minty in a movie...

We were watching the movie Tower Heist last night when hubby said" Hey , isn't that a my little pony?"
Yep it was Minty wearing a santa hat I believe on some childrens ride that has a rainbow connecting the two parts you would step into to ride on and the other pony had a look of that I am guessing sunnydays,her hair seemed to have a wind blown look and she was white...they were g3 versions of the ponies...I couldn't make out the next ride car behind and Ben Stiller was standing in front of the ride in the scene.....
anyone see the movie or has then been mentioned before
I think the movie took place in New York and there was a scene where they were at a mall so I am guessing the ride is in a New York mall somewhere...

If you noticed the big backwards R on the ferris wheel, it's at a TRU. So whichever TRU is the biggest in New York, it has this ferris wheel.

Yep that's the ferris wheel inside the Times Square TRU in New York.  I have way too many ridiculous pictures of me riding in that cart!  Lol!

I actually did a whole jumping up and down and little screams in the street when I saw that for the first time lol! I remember just wandering down the street and catching site of it through the store window and then stopping and staring for ages...what a tourist!

I've been in the MLP cart on the ferris wheel I went to NYC when I was 8, I remember I carried G3 Rainbow Dash with me everywhere, and when we were in line the guy working it let me ride in that cart
