Mum is chucking a fit about my Taobao ordering (should have just stuck with ponies!) so no luck there but I gave in and ordered one off eBay >.< now to hide the credit card statement!

LOOK WHO ARRIVED YESTERDAY!

Their stock outfits came off pretty much as soon as they were both out of their boxes and are wearing some pieces I had for other dolls already. Akoya is now bald I love the colour of her wig, the style and quality - not so much. I have ordered a couple of wigs but for now she'll just have to stay bald.. I think I'll get her an obitsu when I can too. I'm pretty disappointed in their stock bodies, specifically Akoya's  Her face-up and stock chips are perfection for me though!

There's really not much to say about Rin besides the fact that she's totally adorable. I'm content to leave her as she is until I'm happy with Akoya. Rin isn't screaming for any custom tweeks just yet 
Arrghhhhh! I can't wait for the rest of my Pullip/Dal family arrives 


PS: I'm pretty sure they're sisters

These girls have even got me wondering if I should try and trade off some of my MH for wigs, clothes, chips etc

Akoya is gorgeous - one of my favourites but you are right her wig! Mine came so ratty and tangled but I can't bear to take it off, it's the most gorgeous colour

Oh Cassemina, it wasn't an easy decision to remove Akoya's wig simply because the colour is so amazing.. but having her wigless actually helped me to decide on a new wig  Still, it's a shame she couldn't have been given a nicer stock wig because she's so stunning.

As for her new style, I'm pretty much decided on a short black and purple mixed wig, similar (or maybe identical?) to this -

but I will also be getting her a longer chestnut coloured wig at some point, just because I love her as a brunette.

Abasca, I would totally recommend getting her! I looked at plenty of owner pics of her before ordering her just to make sure I wanted her (at the time I was only getting ONE Pullip...  ), and I can't tell you how much more lovely she is in person, despite her not so great wig
