No ponies till New Years

Hey!

When Enola made the last thread for thirty days I really felt I should have joined, but my willpower was weak!   Now that Christmas is rolling around the corner I'm completely prepared to avoid buying ponies till after New Years. That's a long time.

I will of course wrap up my current transactions, but no more ponies. Any takers on joining this challenge here?

I don't know if I can do 30 days but I might be able to pull off 15 and see where it goes.

Yeah! I think that will work. We just have to take it one day at a time, and I have to stay away from Ebay.

I wish I could do it! I almost have all the G4 ones that I want!! I would have to stay out of the sales and ebay to make this one!

So yeah, at least it's good there isn't much in stores these days.

I've scaled back buying ponies because I need to get the collections already here all straightened out.

I did the 30 days back in Sept-Oct and since then I've only bought a handful of ponies. (2 Funko ponies and a couple of Nirvanas) It does help that Hasbro has not released new G4 ponies. *insert sarcasm* Thank you hasbro!

So I wouldn't say I'm not buying ponies but definitely not buying on the scale that I was 3 months ago.

I know Ebay is so simple! All you have to do is click and buy and more ponies show up...I'm awful. Hooray though someone else to join in this, and I'm completely excited. Truth be told I have two pony transactions left to wrap up, so I still have those. Understandable. 

Teresat: Thanks dear! I think finding a healthy medium is the goal anyway which you've seemed to have down.   My problem is I won't buy any then I'll go on a spree and say "oh goodness why did I get all of these at once?"

I'll join! As long as it doesn't count if I'm buying ponies FOR someone. 

I already promised myself I'd not be buying anything for me until after the Holidays. Spending all my money on everyone else. And then after the Holidays... guess who's going on a pony shopping spree?  It's time for me to expand my G3's, G2's and start my G1 collection. Can't wait. Until then.. no ponies for me!
